Cybersecurity undergraduate at Royal Holloway, University of London.
Building tools at the intersection of AI systems, security architecture,
and the idea that software should have a point of view.
I'm Yi Jie Liu, born in 2008 and currently reading Cybersecurity at Royal Holloway, University of London — one of the UK's Academic Centres of Excellence in Cyber Security Research. I'm here because I find systems fascinating: how they're built, how they fail, and how intent shapes both.
My technical interests cluster around AI integration, system architecture, and security thinking. I build tools independently under the Chunchunmaru Softworks label — projects that are experiments as much as products, concerned with what software can feel like when it's designed with genuine conviction.
I'm drawn to cyberpunk not as an aesthetic shorthand but as a serious proposition about technology, power, and the people caught between them. That tension shows up in the things I make.
Attack surfaces, threat modelling, secure system design. The craft of anticipating failure modes before they're exploited.
Not AI as magic — AI as architecture. Memory models, orchestration layers, prompt engineering as a serious engineering discipline.
Gibson, Dick, Stephenson. The genre as a diagnostic tool for thinking about surveillance, power, and what gets lost when technology wins.
Constructing coherent alternate histories with their own physics, institutions, and internal logic. The Veiled Continuum as ongoing experiment.
Headless desktop overlay for Windows. AI chat, local memory, agenda planning, safe execution layer, and ten themes — summoned with Ctrl+Space and dismissed without breaking flow.
An AI-generated living archive of a parallel universe. Daily articles written by a cron-driven LLM with persistent world state — exploring what happens when you let a model develop its own coherent history.
A full-stack anime and webtoon streaming platform built on PHP 8, MySQL, and BunnyCDN. Custom SSE sync, glassmorphism UI with per-section theming, session auth, and a webtoon reader with focus mode.
I'm open to conversations about security research, AI systems, collaborations, internships, and anything technically interesting. I take ideas seriously regardless of where they come from.
Based in Egham, Surrey. Reading at Royal Holloway.
Open to remote collaboration and London meetings.
